Nikola Tesla |
Tesla worked briefly with Thomas Eddison but not for very long. Soon after that Tesla created the Tesla Electric Light Company. Telsa created the alternating current electrical system and then sold the patent to George Westinghouse in 1888.
Telsa designed a hydroelectric power plant at Niagra Falls (on the U.S. side) using an AC electrical system in 1895. That plant was able to power Buffalo in New York.
Nikola Tesla died when he was 86, in New York City, on January 7, 1943.
