Nikola Tesla

SO, today I thought that I would write about Nikola Tesla because I saw his name somewhere (I forget where) and thought that it would be interesting to write about him.

Nikola Tesla
Nicholas Tesla was born on July 10th, 1856. His mother was Djuka Mandic and his father was Milutin Tesla. An interesting fact is that his mother was an inventor. Tesla came to the U.S. in 1884, he was born and raised in Croatia.
Tesla worked briefly with Thomas Eddison but not for very long. Soon after that Tesla created the Tesla Electric Light Company. Telsa created the alternating current electrical system and then sold the patent to George Westinghouse in 1888.
Telsa designed a hydroelectric power plant at Niagra Falls (on the U.S. side) using an AC electrical system in 1895. That plant was able to power Buffalo in New York.
Nikola Tesla died when he was 86, in New York City, on January 7, 1943.
